In contrast, if you go into a work meeting with the thought, “I am prepared and know my boss supports me.” , you will feel more confident and relaxed.
CBT can work in all settings and situations, however, you have to learn how to catch your negative thoughts and change them to positive. In order to change your thinking you have to become aware or conscious of your thoughts. This takes a little bit of time, but the pay off is great as you will ultimately feel happier and more positive.
